TORONTO—The Chicago Wolves fell to the Toronto Marlies 1-0 in Game 3 of the 2026 Calder Cup Finals on Tuesday night at Coca-Cola Coliseum. Predators, Avalanche trade AHL goalies
The Nashville Predators have acquired forward Ross Colton and goaltender Isak Posch from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft and goaltender Magnus Chrona. Posch, 24, spent his rookie season with the AHL’s Colorado Eagles in 2025-26, going 15-8-5 with a 2.78 goals-against average and an .891 save percentage. He also represented Colorado at the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic. Weber is Ironhawks first head coach
TRENTON, N.J. – The Trenton Ironhawks of the introduced Chuck Weber as the club’s first Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations. Weber has been guiding teams at all levels of hockey to success, including winning the Kelly Cup with Cincinnati 2008 and 2010 and the John Brophy Award as ECHL Coach of the Year in 2008. Tortorella won’t return as Golden Knights coach
John Tortorella will not return as coach of the Vegas Golden Knights next season, general manager Kelly McCrimmon announced on Tuesday. The 67-year-old replaced Bruce Cassidy on March 29 with eight games remaining in the regular season. Vegas went 7-0-1 before a playoff run saw it advance to the Stanley Cup Final. Woll traded to Flyers by Maple Leafs for Ersson, Andrae
Joseph Woll was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Toronto, which also sent defenseman Simon Benoit to Philadelphia, received goalie Samuel Ersson, defenseman Emil Andrae and a third-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. Woll was 15-16-7 with a 3.34 goals-against average and .899 save percentage, each the lowest of his career, and two shutouts in 39 games (38 starts) with Toronto this season.
