JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild and the American Hockey League’s Iowa Wild announced that the team has agreed to terms with Jaden Condotta for the 2026-27 season. Condotta, 25, returns for a second season with the Icemen after posting 13 points (2g-11a) with a team-leading 68 penalty minutes in 65 games during his rookie season last season. RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Calgary Flames, announced that Logan Nelson has returned to Rapid City and signed with the Rush for the 2026-27 season. Nelson is back in Rapid City after two years with other ECHL clubs. Komets re-sign Gorniak, Sinclair
Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Fort Wayne Komets announced that forwards Jack Gorniak and Thomas Sinclair have re-signed with the team for the 2026-27 season. Gorniak, 26, missed the 2025-26 season due to a training camp injury. Alfredsson hired by Maple Leafs as associate coach
Daniel Alfredsson was hired as associate coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday. The 53-year-old spent the past three seasons as an assistant with the Ottawa Senators. Prior to that, he worked in player development for Ottawa. He also was an assistant for Sweden at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
