Minnesota Wild to announce new GM

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – In a move expected not to come for at least another week, the Minnesota Wild have scheduled a press conference to announce that they have hired a general manager to replace Doug Risebrough, who was fired shortly after the season ended. The press conference is scheduled for 4 PM central time, at the Xcel Energy Center.

It is strongly suggested, and most likely, that the announcement will be current Pittsburgh Penguins assistant Chuck Fletcher will be the pick.
