VANCOUVER, BC - Canada beat the US in the Gold Medal game,3-2, in OT.

Sidney Crosby beat Ryan Miller 7:40 into overtime and swept away whatever anxiety Canada was feeling after Zach Parise had forced the extra session with his goal with less than 25 seconds on the clock.

Miller was named the MVP of the tournament for his efforts throughout the Olympics.

Now the real work restarts for the NLers who played for two weeks in Vancouver.

Congratulations to Canada for winning the Gold and the USA for showing why hockey is still the best sport.
