PHILADELPHIA – Pro Hockey News is fortunate to count among its staff a great number of talented writers and photographers. Our writers pain their pictures with words and our photographers use their equipment to paint the imagery that supports our writers.
While the words convey their own special meaning, the images that we receive capture the intensity of the sport and competition for every loose puck.
What struck us about several of these images submitted by Kimberly Sauer in the last few weeks was the leg strength of the typical hockey player. Certainly complete physical fitness is necessary, but Kimberly captured the enormous strength required by each skater to win the battle for the puck.
