MANCHESTER, UK - LADISLAV Harabin has filled the last slot on Manchester Phoenix' roster for the forthcoming English Premier League season.

The 29-year-old defenceman will bolster the blueline after icing in the Slovakian Elite League last year.

And although the left-shot doesn't boast massive scoring potential, his discipline and tough style should make him a fans favourite.

Phoenix player-coach Tony Hand expects the Slovak – who has played for the country's juniors in the World Championships – to be one of the league's top players.
