Two storied franchises to faceoff in the Turnbull Cup Mar 31, 2011 - 1:54:15 AM SELKIRK, Manitoba- It took six games for the Selkirk Steelers to down the Winkler Flyers to decide the Addison Division Champion for the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. After coming from behind 2-0 after forty minutes of play the Steelers Colam Jackson scored the winning goal in the second overtime to help the Steelers claim their 15th Addison Division Championship.

Dryden Ice Dogs win series in six games Mar 30, 2011 - 2:56:10 AM DRYDEN, Ontario - The Dryden Ice Dogs who had the Fort Frances Lakers in a strangle-hold 3-1 series lead were finally able to close the deal and eliminated the Lakers 4-1 in a very loud and sold-out Dryden Memorial Arena (aka The Dog Pound). The Dogs and Lakers being ultimate foes were playing for keeps, a Lakers win and they force a game seven, an Ice Dogs win and they move on to face the powerhouse Wisconsin Wilderness in the SIJHL final.

Dryden Ice Dogs have strangle hold on Fort Frances Lakers Mar 25, 2011 - 11:17:27 AM DRYDEN, ONTARIO - The Dryden Memorial Arena was packed with 306 Ice Dogs fans last night to watch the Dryden Ice Dogs take on the Fort Frances Lakers in game four of the SIJHL in semi-final action. The Ice Dogs who where a perfect 6-0 before losing to the Lakers in game three on Tuesday were looking for redemption and strangle hold on the Lakers last night and put them on the brink of elimination.

Dryden Ice Dogs still perfect in SIJHL playoffs Mar 22, 2011 - 9:29:12 AM DRYDEN, ONTARIO - When the Superior International Junior Hockey League season ended Dryden’s beloved Ice Dogs who are celebrating the 10th year in the league found themselves sitting in the 3rd spot in the standings, one point behind the rival Fort Frances Lakers. The Lakers themselves took second place and were 25 points behind the Wisconsin Wilderness who took the regular season championship with 95 points.
